"I had fairly high hopes for this one, but the truth is that I didn't enjoy it. It doesn't really live up to it's title. I didn't feel like dancing at all. A slow, surprisingly poppy album. I later found out that the guy is from Vancouver, so the biased side of me wanted to give him another chance, but no I won't do that..."
"I've never really been interested in Franz Ferdinand and I've only heard their hit songs - that's probably the reason I was never too keen on listening to an entire album. But I thought that I'd finally give them a chance. I'm aware that this is probably the worst place to start, but then again I'm sick of hearing "Take Me Out", so I won't go with that album either. Tonight is a fun album, but that's it really. Looking back at this review I can't help but notice how it's written in a style very similar to Pitchfork. I'm not actually saying anything about the album, just saying random stuff vaguely related to the album... Anywho 5.0 is enough for this one."
"Hype hype hype! Too much of it really. Their poppiest album and one of the best. I really enjoy this one, but it's not their best like everyone seems to think. But still absolutely incredible. What it lacks for me is the energy present in Strawberry Jam. Don't get me wrong this one is mostly highly energetic as well, but a few tracks like Also Frightened are a bit too slow and moody. But other than that it's a near perfect album. It's definitely worth checking out!"
