Not sure about this ... a new main genre? Or what would be the parent genre? I've avoided adding Psychedelica as a genre since for progressive music usually a combination of "psychedelic" with another genre suffices.

Admittedly the word "psychedelica" is catchy, but according to wikipedia it is a broader term for anything related to the use of psychedelic drugs. I know that RYM uses the genre liberally, but it seems quite redundant to me.

Well "Psychedelia" is a "made up" term by Wikipedia, and RYM just uses it as an umbrella for the "Psychedelic" genres.

Neo-Psychedelia, however, is a true genre and should theoretically fall under an "Indie" umbrella, along with Dream Pop and other similar styles.

Honestly, I don't like the "neo" tag here - Neo-Prog, Neo-Psychedelia, and Neofolk really have nothing to do with each other and I think it's best to leave them independent of each other.

Adding Neo-Prog under Rock and Neo-Psychedelia under what is now Independent and Neofolk under Folk, while removing the "Neo" tag altogether would imo be the best solution.

Also, I don't see why I have to pick between "Instrumental" and "Psychedelic" showing up on my tag badge. They shouldn't cancel each other out. https://awesomeprog.com/releases/66585 should have both Psychedelic and Instrumental on the badge.

Instrumental should be a separate group that shouldn't have weight in relation to other tags.

Yes, I agree about Instrumental, it should be removed from the badge for most genres. Will implement that tomorrow! It's not easy to keep the tags badges from growing too long while making sure that the most important tags are shown ...
