Hi! How can you contribute to this website in the most effective way? Here's an ordered list of things you can do:
- Write release blurbs or reviews. Takes time, but provides a lot of value for the website and its users.
- Rate your favorite releases. Remember, this is AWESOMEprog.com. Without you (the users) disclosing which releases you find awesome, it is just a boring database of tens of thousands of releases.
- Add releases to your playlist or collection. Even if you don't want to rate a release, adding it to your playlist shows other users that it might be worth listening to. Even more so when you add a release to your collection (the heart icon).
- Talk about AwesomeProg.com in social media or forums. As a website we are dependent on users finding us. For that we need links to our website. These links will also increase our visibility in search engines.
- Add artists and releases. This is always appreciated, but those additional releases do not mean much without ratings or reviews. So if you're adding your favorite release, kudos! But please also rate or review it.
