Last weekend I saw that on Bandcamp release pages there is actually a list of genre tags. So I implemented the bandcampBot, which now tags a release with these genres whenever someone adds a link to its bandcamp page. This is particularly nice for upcoming releases, giving them some genre info even though nobody has listened to them yet. | |

Sure! That's why all the bots have a trust rank of 1, whereas normal users have a trust rank of 4. So any tag assigned by a bot can easily be overuled by assignments by real users. Even if three bots assign the wrong tag, one single user vote still ranks higher. | |

Yes, you're right - it's a bug. I fixed it - adding bandcamp to the bot system resulted in the bandcamp links appearing from two different sources, I removed the old one. |
