Well, as much as I liked tagyourmusic.org, I accepted the criticism that a) it is too close to rateyourmusic and b) the domain name of this website should reference prog. I searched long and hard for a good domain name that is still free, and finally I picked awesomeprog.com.

What do you think? In my opinion it captures the mission of this website perfectly: We all come here to find awesome prog music to listen to, or to tell others about it.

^ Well, what can I say - the best domain names were already taken twenty years ago. It is what it is :-)

Greetings Mike! Amesome Prog is certainly a better choice than TYM. However, prog wasn't and isn't always awesome. There is some great stuff, but there is also a lot of crap under that tag. But a progreak loves that crap too. Thus, Progfreak is still the best name for this site; it's like a good ol' brand name and should be back, in my humble opinion.

Btw, here is my choice of the best albums of 2023 so far (embedded Bandcamp links are given; just click on the images): https://www.progforums.com/punforum/viewtopic.php?id=2529

I hear you, Svetonio - and as I said a few weeks (months) ago, the Progfreak domain will return in some form which you might like, so stay tuned.

In the meantime it would make me very, very happy if you could take the time to RATE your favorite releases of 2023! We are few users here, so every vote counts. I'll take a quick look at the list you posted, but you can actually say "this release is awesome" here, on this website - and the ratings you assign here will later also show on Progfreak.com, of course.

Here's your favorite releases of 2023 as far as this website is concerned - currently only one album. Can you increase the number to ten, or possibly beyond? :-)
