Some of you have advanced editing permissions (e.g. edit artists and releases). I've now hidden these additional inputs by default. My primary reason is that I wanted to be able to browse the website like a normal user, without all the extra buttons. If you want to activate the editing, just look for the little user icon just before the "Preferences" link in the top navigation. Let me know if you have any problems accessing the functionality. | |

Reduces clutter. I'm going to add back the tracklist editing for admins and curators soon, and for me as an admin there are many more buttons for fixing links and cover art and a lot of other stuff. Helps a lot to remove it all by default, and also makes it less likely to accidentally edit or delete something. | |

Many thanks for the hard graft you guys do correcting my and others mistakes et cetera. Generally a thankless task I'm sure other than me saying it again - thanks. One thing that might need editing again is trust ranks - accidentally clicked your username Mike, which revealed yours to be 6 which seems far too low for the architect of the site! | |

^ You're welcome! :-) My trust rank has been sinking because I was not regularly rating releases anymore. It will go up again! I'll also improve the code so that long-standing users, who have been rating a lot of releases consistently for a long time, will not go down in rank as much as new users who just rate ten releases and then disappear forever. There have been a bunch of new users recently, and they all highly rated the 2026 Primaluce release ... | |

Fair play! Ha, had noticed that Primaluce album had some odd activity. Can't say it's made it into my queue! See it as a compliment in a way, someone clearly sees this site has having enough exposure to feel its worth trying to game the system, as happens on ProgArchives etc | |

^ Not really, they're just gone. You can see it on the users page: They submit their ratings on the same day they joined and then never come back. I'll change the trust rank computation to reduce the rank to zero for accounts like these. |
