Was looking at their bandcamp page, and came across this: https://pelican.bandcamp.com/album/flickering-resonance "Join Pelican on Bandcamp Friday for a free listening party to celebrate the upcoming release of Flickering Resonance. We'll be hanging out in the chat as we play through the entire album together ahead of its release on May 16th." I'm pretty sure I'm going to dislike this one simply because it's brickwalled (DR 5 in 2025? ugh...), but if I cna make it I'll probably do it because why not, right? | |

I'd say that it's "loud" ... never liked the term "brickwalled" since it has such a negative connotation which is misleading since hundreds of millions of people enjoy these "brickwalled" releases, including yours truly. |
