Timeline
"Despite a new band, Neal Morse is just doing exactly the same Christian Pop disguised as prog as he's done for over two decades. Low energy thanks to the aging lineup, and the usual overtly preachy lyrics. Almost have to admire how he's made his career writing the same formulaic song over and over." (bartyMJ, , )
"You should not expect something overly innovative here, soundwise getting into Karmakanic / The Flower Kings / Spock's Beard waters, and occasionally departing into a radio friendly Pop direction, but when ignoring some retrogressive lyrics the album offers well produced Prog music for sure."
