Symph Prog Rock

"Fine, this veteran five-piece band from Groningen heralds the renaissance of the church organ, for example. The double album marks a multi-styled and multi-variant parforce ride across the Progressive Rock fields, and beyond, even with some hints of opera. Twenty songs are embedded in total, conceptually divided in four chapters. Occasionally this is referencing major prog bands like Pink Floyd, Jethro Tull, Yes. But this doesn't just follow the mainstream preference. In the first stage you can listen to rather relaxed and atmospheric stuff, but soon they will release the horses for the first time. Intensive use of wind instruments throughout. Obviously the title track is also intended as a throwback to their debut album 'Kite' that was released long ago in 1988. Apart from the lyrics completely re-arranged though. Almost unbounded spirit and variety. The band has managed to create an awesome colourful music production."
