"Volbeat returns with their mixture of classic rock 'n' roll and heavy metal (aka metal 'n' roll), and this one works even better than the previous album. There are more elements of 50s rock 'n' roll (as well as some pop of that era) than on the previous, but they're much better integrated into the musical universe of metal. The vocals, which sound like a hybrid between Elvis and Glenn Danzig add a melancholic feel to the otherwise energetic and quite hardcorish music, and this works very well."
