Review by Time_Signature published

"Alternative metal, sludge metal and hard rock really come together on this album by American sludge metallers Totimoshi. Some of the riffage is kind of aggresive while other is heavy and groovy, and there is an overall dark psychedelic feel to this album - without there ever being any stoner atmosphere as such.

The sound, and much of the riffage, is grungy and there is a certain 90s alternative rock/metal character to this album too, which fits neatly in with the more 70s-inspired elements. There are also several sections with odd time signature and other rhythmic complexities, which add a progressive edge to Totimoshi's music, too.

With it's dirty grungy sound and heavy beats, combined with progressive elements and midtempo aggression, "Avengers" should appeal to fans of sludge metal, heavy psychedelic rock, alternative metal/rock and so on.
