"This album needs some time, finally works like a highly melodic and really well-crafted song collection." (Rivertree, , full review)
"A very pleasant listen. It's all so polished, yet quite adventurous and at the same time familiar. A remote cousin of Big Big Train ..." (Mike, )
"Best album yet from Subsignal. Shades of greatness from the Sieges Even days." (tsudduth24, )

Heavy Neo Prog Rock

"The first band release I'm really stuck of. No, it can't reach for the former impeccable spirit (if ever intended). I mean the times where Holzwarth brothers Alex and Oliver were involved, when they were navigating by the stars once. Anyway, on this occasion the production is getting close to that more than ever. It's the overall flow of the songs most notably. Also, especially due to those touching heavy guitar riffs provided by Markus Steffen. Arno Menses' singing voice serves another comfortable recognition value for sure. And so there are some reasons to somewhat file this under the term 'Sieges Even Light'. Overall the Subsignal approach is less raw and edgy of course, more Art and Neo Prog oriented. And enriches everything with a proper share of keyboards and electronics. This album needs some time, finally works like a highly melodic and really well-crafted song collection."
