"The debut album of one of Denmark's prime psychedelic acts, 'Alrune Rod' contains some very dark and heavy progressive psychedelic rock tunes, which probably takes some getting used to for the "modern" music ear. Especially the, at times atonal, theatralic vocal style may be strange to some, and perhaps Alrune Rod overdo it a bit, but then again, it is pretty much within the zeitgeist of Danish psychedelic rock at the time."
