"I don't know what to make of this ... to me it seems like the band tried to follow a current trend: Extreme metal bands makes acoustic album. It's arranged and performed nicely, but I'm not really digging the songwriting - and I don't like the vocal style and lyrics at all. I much prefer Acoustic Verses (Green Carnation) which was also released in 2006."
"A beautiful album in the vein of Green Carnation's "The Acoustic Verses". Songs on this release are however more folkish and progressive, with a few weird moments resembling acoustic versions of songs on Arcturus' "La Masquerade Infernale".
One could only regret the shortness of the album (only 39 minutes)..."
