Awesome Dark Gothic Non-Prog Metal/Rock

"This album really sounds like a transitional album (even more now considering that both extreme vocalist and female vocalist have left the band). Without a permanent extreme vocalist, the main thing that strikes here is the minimal use of extreme vocals (only a few on two songs), with a clear change of sound toward more classic gothic/rock (Paradise Lost or Tiamat comes to mind) and less operatic moments, less keyboards and more guitars."
