"A landmark in the RIO genre, Samla Mammas Manna's second album definetely was an improvement over their first. Samla really defined their own well known "sound" on "Måltid". This is a wonderful mix of Canterbury/Jazz-Fusion and RIO with a good dose of humor thrown in, it's a very unique listening even for usual RIO standards. The musicianship is wonderful and the playful arrangements are really something that get stuck in your head. If you like RIO and Canterbury, "Måltid" is a must!
