"Dave Grohl does what he does well, but there's really nothing new on offer here. I guess that lyrically, this is mostly a tribute to Taylor Hawkins, and we should be respectful of that. But it also strikes me that Grohl keeps trying to get the Kurt Cobain monkey off his back, but can't seem to shake it even if the rest of the world things that we - and Grohl himself - have moved far beyond that."
"Not much to say, actually. Except of course for the tragedy around their late former drummer, the music is just what you would expect from the Foo Fighters. Solid, thoughtful rock. Personally, I found Dave's Death/Thrash side project from last year much more original and entertaining (Dream Widow)."
