"Surprisingly strong work from the 80s party rockers. Pornograffiti was the obvious high-water mark in their career, and even if that wasn't really prog, it did have some hidden depth. Since then their output has been, frankly, somewhat warmed-over. But Bettencourt is remarkably talented, and with him at the helm, and with a decade and a half of effort into it, this is a strong if uneven bid to climb back up that mountain."
"Extreme goes Alternative Rock … unfortunately it does not work, at least I am not convinced at all on first listen. There are some songs on this album that do work, but those harken back to the old melodic hard rock Extreme of the early 90s. Where they try to innovate, they fail. It’s a shame, with all the amazing talent involved."
