Akku Quintet Switzerland

"A truely interesting outfit from Switzerland, headed by drummer Manuel Pasquinelli, who is also known for his contributions to diverse Stephan Thelen projects. This eclectic music takes some time to assimilate. The fundament is a rather hypnotic flow with looping grooves. Guitars, keyboards and saxophone on the other hand are swirrling around, often enough in a freestyle manner. Anyway, it's still quite accessible."
