"Some people like power metal. Some people like speed/thrash metal. Some people like traditional metal. Some people like all three genres, and those people ar in for a treat here. Thunderblast take the best things from speed/thrash metal, power metal, and traditional metal and combine them into a high octane brand of power metal which is bound to kick ass from here to eternity.

There is a lot of edge and punch to this release, but also a lot of melody in the form of catchy guitar melodies and choruses and other hooklines. A lot of the tunes are uptempo with speed/thrash metal drumbeats, and there is also a lot of speed/thrash metal style riffage which is combined with classic metal riffage, classic metal style guitar solos and guitar twin leads galore.

Vocalist Felipe Machado Franco has a classic metal voice, and performs excellently from beginning to end, and his singing really gives choruses character of both catchiness and rock 'n' roll roughness.

The production strikes me as being a bit unpolished, which is not a problem, but sometimes the drums clip in the mix, which might disturb some hi-fi buffs, but personally I have no problems with it - it even sounds a bit authentic.

While Thunderblast certainly have their own sound, "Invaders from Another World" may, just for the sake of comparison be described as a blend of "Welcome to the Ball" (Vicious Rumors), "Trapped!" (Rage), "Spreading the Disease" (Anthrax) and "Night of the Stormrider" (Iced Earth) with traces of Iron Maiden - all of which are among my favorite metal releases.

In other words, the listener can expect non-cheesy power metal with the energy and aggression of speed/metal and the melody and catchiness of classic metal. Certainly, if you like old school power metal and speed metal, you should check out this ass-kicking gem of a power metal release.
